Pallets vs Truckloads: Which Is Right for You?

A single pallet is the smallest common unit of wholesale liquidation inventory, generally sized for a single reseller to sort and move through a storefront, market stall or online store.

Multi-pallet lots bundle several pallets together, often at a modest discount versus buying each individually, suited for resellers with more storage space and buying power.

Half and full truckloads represent a significant step up in volume -- roughly 12-13 pallets for a half truckload and 24-26 for a full truckload -- typically reserved for established resellers, retailers or exporters.

The right choice depends on your storage capacity, sales velocity and comfort with the category. Many buyers start with single pallets and scale up to truckloads as their business grows.
